CSA’s Vz58s are the top of the heap, so I wouldn’t be leery of them building a semi-auto version of the Vz61, especially in the original .32 ACP / 7.65 Browning Short caliber. There probably aren’t many surplus spares specifically available in .380 or 9mm Makarov, though those would be marginally better “man stoppers.” It sounds like it would be a nice range toy, though.
They’re a hoot to shoot in full-auto (they rent them at Battlefield Vegas and probably other places). Absolutely no recoil. It’s like a little sewing machine.
