Dan Wesson Specialist price question
« on: September 29, 2022, 10:46:55 AM »
Hello,

I found a Dan Wesson Specialist, blue, in .45 for $1600.  It's used but no marks at all.  Apparently the buyer didn't want the rail so traded it and I'm told after about 100 rounds.  Comes with the box and whatever else is in that.  Any comments as to whether or not that's an okay price?  I did look at some auctions but asking and getting are two different things.

Thanks.

Seems fair to me if it's in prime condition. I believe the Specialist is their top of the line model.

Given that I'm seeing them retail for close to $2k these days, I'd say you did well.

I appreciate your comment.  I should've stated that I haven't bought it yet, I should've been clearer in my post.

I'm hesitating only because there are a couple of other guns I think I'd like first, one being a Shadow 2.  Yes, I know, completely different, but there have been times when I regretted not buying a gun regardless of whether or not it's on the list, like the Specialist

Thanks, again.
