That's a switch. Most folks are looking to reduce trigger pull. What are the circumstances that have you research greater trigger pull?
No target is too large or to close to miss.

Here in Sweden we shoot something called "Nationellt Fältskytte"  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbTLGfrfIZg&t=28s&ab_channel=OzwaldA

The trigger pull must be at least 2.9983 Pounds otherwise you cant participate, its a kind of safety rule and its used for semi automatic pistols in 9mm to 45 ACP calibers and DA revolver .32 to .38 cal.

This should do the trick:
https://czcustom.com/cz-parts-all/cz-springs-all/cz-75-trigger-return-spring-heavy.html
Or... you can also try adding a heavier hammer spring, which may help somewhat but affects DA much more than SA. I would suggest removing the trigger return spring and spreading it open a little. That will increase pull weight as well.

The other thing to try if you only need a little increase in trigger pull weight is to swap the CZ sear spring with the Tangfolio sear spring.  It is about .22lbs heavier on my Tactical Sport Orange.  Chronicled here:  https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=86250.msg645137#msg645137

I'm not sure how much heavier the CZ Custom spring is but I think it is significantly heavier and may be too much depending on your needs.

Cheers,
Toby

I installed stronger 0.8 mm searspring (link below) in my TS2 and it increased my trigger to around 2.4 pounds. You can see the sear spring is much thicker and stronger.

https://www.cz-parts.com/cz-shadow-2-cz-ts-2-cz-75b-sp-01-sear-spring

To get it to 3 pounds I think only option is opening up the sear to be able to install two sear spring, e.g standard plus 0.75 mm. I tried with 0.8 mm + standard sear spring and it got my trigger to approx. 3.7 pounds.

To make space in the sear for second spring, it’s either gunsmith or Dremel tool.

The picture above is with two standard TS sear springs and it got my trigger to 2.2 pounds. Later I received 0.8 mm sear spring mentioned earlier and combining it with standard TS spring it got me to 3.7 pounds which was way too much for me. It’s when I realized 0.8 mm version adds quite some weight so I tried it solo and it got me to 2.4 pounds which is perfect for me.

I strongly recommend you also buy new sear and keep the original for backup.

P.S. I also tried Tangfolio spring which did close to nothing for me, adding less then 2 oz.

Thanks for the link, I've never seen different sear spring weights before only trigger return springs for the standard 75 variants.  Can you comment on how much the 0.8mm sear spring alone increased the pull over stock?  You indicate that the 0.8mm sear spring resulted in a 2.4lb pull but don't state what you started at stock?

Cheers,
Toby

Hi. CZ TS2 has a stock trigger pull weight at average 35.6 oz/727 g. I’m from Europe, so hope I’m doing the conversion right, google conversion doesn’t correspond to official data actually.

Measured in metrics I started with ~730 g and ended with ~1.1 kg (2.4 lbs?), so it added around 400g.

I also must add I’m using improvised luggage scale to measure, so it’s not precise but should be close enough.

Thanks for the data.  That is a significant increase and worth investigating further!

So you started at ~1.6lb and just swapping to the 0.8mm sear spring ended at ~2.4lb.  That is a ~0.8lb increase.  This is with everything else stock in the action (hammer, main spring, etc...)?

Cheers,
Toby

Yes. I haven’t changed anything else. And as said, spring is notably thicker and stronger. I’m sorry I haven’t made any comparison photo before installation, with a standard spring.

Here is the comparison, left to right CZ TS2 stock sear spring (thickness measured at 0.62 mm), Tangfolio sear spring (0.65 mm) and Zendl 0.8 mm sear spring from CZ Parts.

As you can see Tangfolio sear spring is almost identical to TS2, but due to slightly different design provides “earlier” tension. Zendl sear spring is, due to its thickness, notably  stronger compared to both.

Thanks for the comparison.   I tried to order from zendl but being stateside and there website not in English,  they haven't responded to my email asking how to pay.

I'm hoping I can get them to ship to America.

Cheers,
Toby

Any particular reason to go directly to producer? CZ Parts ships worldwide.
