CZ 82 Proof Marks
« on: October 03, 2022, 08:20:50 AM »
Does anyone know if CZ 82s produced for the Czech Ministry of Interior (police, prison, security uses) had different proof marks than those produced for military use?  My CZ 82 has military marks but I'm curious if it could have been LE surplus.

Not sure what proofmark format you are looking for?
My CZ 83 was manufactured at ?eská Zbrojovka.
It is a LEO surplus.

The crossed swords mark is a military acceptance mark.  Would this mark also be on Ministry of Interior pistols?

JHP 147: About your question I have no idea, but the gun shipping to me also has the (military) crossed swords on the frame.

On the exposed area of the slide, mine has a T at the end of the serial #s, but there is no circle around it, unlike your encircled T.

A Czech lawyer is a member of TheHighRoad, and petitions the Czech Parliament on continued resistance against the sleazy Euro-Crats' pressure, regarding the unique Czech gun freedoms. Thousands of Czech citizens have acquired CCW permits. 8)  Very many own AKMs, VZ-58s etc.

;)  I just now sent him your question.  Your stainless is such a beauty.
He is good about responding from Prague, Czech Republic.
