« on: October 25, 2022, 07:57:41 PM »
Has anyone tried the M•Carbo trigger?

Mods edited post to avoid confusion with the CZ P10 M, based on this from Carbo:
Quote
Compatible with the Following Models: P-10 S, P-10 C, P-10 F
Not Compatible with P-10 M

I am intrigued by this. If someone can post a report on their experience with it, I would be interested.

I have 3 of them installed; P-10 Competition, P-10 C Suppressor Ready, and on P-10 SC. The trigger saddle is very comfortable and wide with no trigger bite. Also the trigger safety lever seats flush with the saddle during trigger press. In terms of adjustment, MCarbo got it almost perfect with the initial setup. I didn’t need additional over travel adjustment after initial setup.  On the pre-travel, I just adjusted it a little bit more to practically remove all travel prior to engaging Firing Pin (Striker) Block. Keep in mind that you will not be able to remove all Pre-travel, you can only adjust the travel distance of the trigger bar until it engages/touches the Firing Pin Block lever. If you adjust pass this point you are permanently engaging the lever and literally disabling the Firing Pin Block and making the gun unsafe (drop safe). Stick to the recommendations by MCarbo and it enjoy it, once you understand the mechanical function of the firearm then this trigger gives you all the adjustment you need, no other P-10 trigger offers this level of adjustment.

Have you used any other triggers beside the OEM? Wondering how they compare.

I have a P-10 Competition Ready that came from CZ with the HB Industries trigger. It is good but I like the ergonomics of the MCarbo better. Also, been able to adjust pre-travel improves the trigger travel and feeling in my opinion.
