New P07 .. WOW!

Is there anyway to ascertain the date of manufacture?? Just curious.

Also .. it may have been covered and I am not using the right search term but the lanyard loop makes me think it has been issued to some Law Enforcement or military. I did a google search and found nothing. Is the P07 issued anywhere?

Just looked at my P09 .40.

Right side of the slide, in front of the ejection port is the serial number.  To the left of the serial number is a number "14". 

Makes me think that's the year of manufacture as it's about when I bought that pistol.

Every time I grab/look at that P09 .40 I think, "I really should have had it milled for a red dot and back up sights years ago."

If I did that might put the M&Ps and FNS .40's in the safe for good.

The P-07/P-09 pistols are used by Slovakian and Hungarian police. In the latter case, they are made under license in Hungary as well as the Evo 3 and Bren 2 for the armed forces.
