Trigger Pull Observation During Break-In of SP-01,

With a new SP-01 in hand instead of just jumping into the break-in I thought I might take measurements and see the differences.
1st break-in procedure is install an O-ring, 500 dry fires in double action.
I measured the trigger pull 10 times pre and post dryfires, here are the averages:

10 lb, 4.4 oz, double action pre dry fire.
9 lb, 3.3 oz, double action post dry fire.

4 lb, 5.9 oz, single action pre dry fire.
4 lb, 7.6 oz, single action post dry fire.

Interesting results. I think this shows that the SP01 trigger does get better with use. My FDE SP-01 Tac is all stock and the trigger has got beter and better with age.

Interesting how pistols can differ.
Mine is a 2021 vintage w fiber optic front sight.

SP01 factory new after about 100 rounds fired.
SA 1 pound 15.5 ounces also 2 pounds 7.0 ounces
DA: 9 pound 6.5 ounces also 8 pounds 14.5 ounces

after CGW and SAO upgrade; 1 pound 12.9 ounces

5 pull averaged trials with lyman digital pull gauge, several trials

Who knows maybe I just got lucky?
I attributed it to possible new factory machinery for the smooth internals (v.s. machine marks).

But honestly, I was startled by the action when I first got it.
Like wow, so smooth...

I guess because I had read so many reports of gritty SP01 actions.

The slide to frame fit is tight also.

Another subject I have read about lately that some SP01 samples have a bit or excessive movement there.

Make sure you hold onto this one. Great light trigger with no grit on the SP01 is not normal based on my experience.

Oh yeah,its my poor man's Shadow  SAO now that I did the CGW upgrades!

I don't live in a free state so few CZ models can be bought retail.
