CZ TS 2 Blue
« on: December 15, 2022, 07:33:49 PM »
[Went to look for a Colt 45 acp 1911 today and they had no Colts but saw this used ts 2 before the other 1911’s in the display case. Hoping that it works out where I can attach a photo. Anyway at the store it looked pretty clean, not any wear that I noticed. Took it home to clean, lube and inspect. Every part was bone dry but no rusting. Ran a patch thru the barrel and it came out pretty clean. Ran a oily patch thru the barrel and came out fairly clean also. Wonder if the gun was only fired by cz when they test out after assembly. Anyway gave it a good lube with weapon shield and wipe down. My shadow 2 is da/sa so this will different shooting. Did not care for the large cz briefcase size box it came in so I found it fit perfectly in my P10-F 45 acp case that I was using for the home defense P10-F. I did not really want the ts 2 green, did not think I would need the extra features. PS: too old and computer ignorant to figure out how to post a pic? Wiill attach one if I find the way?

First congrats on your find and purchase. I will say I really enjoy shooting my TS2 BUT only after I changed the hammer. The factory hammer had a lot of creep and that bothered me so I ordered a CGW Pro legal comp hammer. I couldn't be any happier. It's not too light like my original TS was and installing the hammer got rid of a lot of the creep. The one thing I always didn't like about my original TS was the hammer was to light so I took the TS2 hammer and put it in the TS. Well now I have two Tac Sports that I like the triggers and really enjoy shooting. Enjoy your TS2, be safe and have fun shooting.
