New Sar B6C
« on: December 16, 2022, 12:49:12 PM »
The wife bought a Sar B6C yesterday. Very solid feeling firearm!
We’re anxious for the weather to cooperate to shoot it.
Are there any owners of them? Thoughts on it!

Results from testing my daughter's soon to be B6C. I bought it a couple of months ago for her for a Christmas present. I wanted to make sure everything worked ok. Fired 61 rounds. First one round in each mag. Manually racked into the gun. Then two rounds in each mag loaded from slide lock. Then five rounds in each loaded from slide lock. Then 10 rounds in each mag from slide lock. Then 13 in the mag with one in the chamber and a reload from slide lock with another mag of 13 rounds. All fired and functioned without a hitch. 115 grain plated reloads with HP38 and Win small pistol primers. All shot at 10 yards. I really like this gun. Tempted to keep it for myself and buy her something different. Lol.

Why not give her the gun and buy another one for yourself?

I have one (several years now)  and find it reliable and accurate.

I was looking for a Keltec p17 for her and couldn't find one. Knowing she likes my Witness (large frame) but the grip is a little too bug for her I bought the Sar instead. I wanted the .22 so she could work on the fundamentals with less recoil. Finally found one so I'll just hold onto the Sar until she is older.

Congratulations to your Wife on her new SAR B6C and may it serve her well!  8)  :)

I have the SAR K2P/CM9 G1, SAR B6/B6P, and K2-45.  Great Pistols all!  :)

I have thought about getting a B6C, but my favorite LGS doesn't seem able to keep them in stock for very long and isn't offering any deals on them.
I got lucky just getting the B6/B6P from them, but I did get that one at a very reasonable price.
My K2P was not reasonably priced, but I bought it anyways. Not sorry!
My K2-45 had to be special ordered.

What ever the reason I braved the low temps and wind. Lol! Shot at a burn barrel about 25 yards off the patio. Just a few rounds and it ran fine felt smooth and hit the target!!! Might have to get me one. Except a new Glock is to be delivered Tuesday.
Get better weather we will get more serious about accuracy. Lol
