CZ75B Omega question
« on: December 18, 2022, 09:31:23 PM »
Last year I purchased a new CZ 75B Omega convertible. I really like how this gun fits my hand. . I also bought a Kadet pistol, because I could not find a conversion kit. I do not like the feel of the Kadet nearly as well.

I finally have been able to pick up a Kadet 2 conversion kit. Now, I would like to buy another CZ75B Omega to keep the Kadet 2 on and have the exact same feel as my 9mm.  I will most likely buy on-line and am a little worried about getting the same gun as what I have.  As I read the descriptions, I am reading either plastic or poly grips.  My CZ75B came with a grip that feels like rubber.

What type of grip is on the CZ75B Omega convertible?  Is a poly grip similar to rubber?

Well if it's in your budget you can buy some aftermarket grips to fit your needs.  Hogue and LOK grips offer a lot of different options.

Also CZC has factory rubber grips for < $25.

I like those rubber grips.  When I buy an older CZ that has the hard plastic grips I get on line and order a set of the rubber grips from CZ USA and they fit the older guns fine (Pre CZ85 and an old CZ75 Compact as examples).

I haven't bought a new CZ75 type (two Compacts, two P01 Omegas, two CZ75 Compacts with the P01 style frame, and a CZ75SA) that didn't come with the rubber grips already on them from the factory.

The CZ USA website does say the grips are "plastic."  Not sure it that means hard plastic like the old CZ75's for "plastic" like the fishing worms/grubs that everyone calls plastic worms but are soft/flexible like a type of rubber.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?
