DWX Desing - Parts Pic
« on: January 15, 2023, 06:28:21 PM »
While i am not in the market for one, i have been curious about the internal design of the DWX. What part is CZ and what part is 1911. This picture answered most of my questions.

For those that may also be curious.

Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

The Trigger, Three Fingered Mainspring, Safety, Hammer, Hammer Strut and Hammer Spring, all are taken from the 1911 design.
Hammer Spring Enclosure is very similar in concept to the 1911.

The Chamber Locking Block is an element taken from later Cz Designs such as the P07, P09, Phantom, and Cz97B.
The Barrel Underlug however, looks to be derived from the Browning Hi-Power.

Cool find, I am also not in the market but was very curious how the “fire control unit” chassis worked. Presumably that is the serialized component of the pistol? Based on the few videos I’ve seen I am assuming this is where the Sig P320 comparisons come from.

It also utilizes the Sig system of the barrel hood locking into the slide opening.
No matter where you're going, there you are.
