Wow this is a tough one.
I have a 550 American in .308 and a T-3 in ,.338 WM. I feel the 550 is more comparable to the T-3 than the 527. Love them both for what they each are.
The 550 is my deer rifle, it's accurate, smooth, and down right beautiful.
My T-3 is my moose gun, it's accurate, smooth, and in stainless is beautifully done.
The CZ offers a set trigger that is great on the bench, the T-3 is available in the U.S. with only a very smooth single stage trigger, but you don't hunt using a set trigger. Both are adjustable triggers but the T-3 requires less tear down to adjust.
If the CZ has a draw back over the T-3 is that it is just so nicely finished and on those really snowy deer season days I have to force myself to expose my 550 to anything that would detract from the finish. But it is a hunting rifle so out it comes and I spent a proper amount of time cleaning and oiling after coming in. The T-3, being stainless and a plastic stock, requires less clean up time.
You won't go wrong with either but get the CZ. I'm afraid that the Tikka is a Beretta orphan. They did not even include it in current Shotter's Bible, a Stoeger publication owned by Beretta. Tikka's web site is a side light to Sako's web page and is being treated like a poor man's Sako. What a shame for such a fine company and rifle.
