CZ 457 lux cheek riser recommendations
« on: March 17, 2023, 06:39:16 PM »
I have a 457 Lux with a Sweet .22 6x18x40 scope that just clears the iron sights. I’m using Warne high quick detach rings on an added picatinny rail so I can still access the iron sights. However, I’m thinking that a cheek riser will give me better eye relief on my scope. Any suggestions out there on a good cheek riser that fits well on a Lux stock. Thanks…..jeffp

I use a tactical stock pack with a padded check rest on a 452 Trainer. Gives it that extra 1/2”. Sounds like you need a little more.

I've seen a neoprene cuff that fits over a rifles butt stock. Then there are different thicknesses of spongy foam that fit sandwiched between the stock and cuff raising the comb height. I'm afraid i don't know who made this set up though. Have to google search.

Best bet is to check out Amazon.  I got some 'risers' that strap on w/ Velcro, and come with Vel-on ammo carrier.  only $10 or so.  I also found some Kydex adjustable risers for ca $30 but you have to drill 2x holes to mount (for adjustability) or you could use dbl-side tape i you don't want to drill  ;-p
PS - For my CZ455 & 457 I just got Low Vortex Pro rings - f- the irons.  6x is OK for close shots for me.
