I have be looking at a Bul Amrory Cherokee 9mm for $300 vs an IWI jericho polymer 9mm for $499. Both guns have been at different pawn shops for over 6 months. They wouldn't budge 6 months ago when I asked them for a lower price. I have an IWI Jericho and like it much. I always like to have 2 of each so that is why I want it. But The Bul Armory interests me.  My question is which one will be more reliable and have better customer service and have more replaceable parts in the future ? I have read that Bul Armory has been "wishy washy" . Thanks for any help.

Were it my choice, I would choose the IWI Jericho, even though the price is a good bit higher.  More parts are available and they've been in the US Gun Market longer.
Their quality is more well known as being very good.

Nothing really bad about the BUL Armory Pistols, but their importation has been more  problematic, probably due to changing Importers a bit too often.
Now that they have established their own Importer, things may be much better in that regard. Hopefully, their reputation will improve, but that will take time.
Since this is not your only Pistol, it might well be worth the gamble.  I do find the mid-sized BUL Armory Pistol quite attractive and quite similar to the Tanfoglio/RIA
MAPP1.

It should be noted that both of these Pistols use some parts from Tanfoglio, so small parts and springs should not be too much of a problem.

My opinion, FWIW.

Have you tried the trigger on both?  I might use that information in my decision making also.

The triggers are not that much different from each other.

jwc007, that video is one part of the reasoning I used to get back into the SAR B6.  After watching it, I had one more bit of regret piled on for getting out of my clones.  I know there isn't too much difference in function and feel between these clones, just some are better quality and parts availability, and watching James talk about them.....well, much of his "cheap gun" ideas were why I liked clones also.

UPDATE : I already have a Jericho 941 in polymer so I decided to get the Cherokee. I went to look at the Cherokee I've been seeing for the last several months. I then went to check another pawn shop and found a Cherokee for $290 with no wear at all with box , 2 mags and all papers ! I snatched that up as fast as I could !!!! man the Cherokee is SWEET. Even though it has large looking finger grooves , it feels better than any other pistol I have. The grip is very comfortable. $290 ! You can hardly get a crappy Taurus for that.

Nice find. I snagged a used Cherokee in great condition, in the box, with 2 mags for $275. $340 with fees and all. I will say tho, it is on the heavy side. Especially compared to the newer Jericho 941 “Enhanced” polymer frame. Super reliable tho.

P.S.: Check out the BUL Armory website. They sell some pretty sweet knives under the “BUL Blades” category.
