CZ Tactical Sport 2 Orange discontinued?

I've been looking for a TSO2 Orange in 9MM for a while. I've contacted several shops and they all say that they haven't been able to get one from their distributor for months. One even said that he's not sure that CZ is still building them.

In searching various dealers, one has specifically said that the TSO2 Orange 91266 has been discontinued. Even Gunbroker doesn't have any listed. There are a few 40SW models out there, but the 40SW has never been as popular as the 9MM.

CZ just introduced this new version of the TS, I can't believe that it has been discontinued already.  Other than being in high demand, is there any other reason why these are impossible to find?

Has anybody heard any news about this?

It's not.  They just produce them in batches.  You will find they come stateside in waves.  You will have to wait till the next slow boat hits the shore.

I guess now that limited optics is a thing the 9mm variant will be more popular.  If I were shooting standard limited, I'd want the 40 variant.

Thanks, I thought it was something like that. It wouldn't make any sense to drop the Orange so quickly, although it didn't take long for CZ to drop the Green.

What got me is that a couple of dealers said that they thought it was discontinued and I found one that had "discontinued" on their website.

Just to be clear, per the CZ-USA website, the proper nomenclature is TS2 Orange, not to be confused with the Tactical Sport Orange (TSO)
sku for the 40 s&w is 91265 and for the 9mm is 91266.

Thank you. In my original post I for some reason mistakenly listed it as 'TSO2 Orange' (typo?) but I did list it correctly in the title.

In my searches I always search using either the manufactures part number, MPN 91266 or the UPC 806703912660.  The distinction is important to mention because some dealers not up to date on their CZs might not realize that there is a new TS Orange out there and may confuse it with the original version.

 The TS2 Orange is a current production item in both 9mm and .40S&W (Items 91266 and 91265 respectively). They are difficult to find due to demand exceeding supply.
