Do you dry fire your CZ 10P or any CZ without snap caps?

I don’t own a striker fired CZ but will dry fire my hammer fired pistols with an O ring under the hammer. Sat watching tv recently dry firing my new to me P-07 this way for about 90 minutes.

Just once in awhile.  Like right after cleaning/lubing.  A couple of times, then I load it and put it away till the next time I carry/shoot/clean it.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I use snap caps so that I don’t accidentally load a live round while dry firing. The most important thing about dry firing is, you do it consistently at least 3x a week, you have to make sure you are doing the right things or else you’d be creating bad habits which will become muscle memory.

I should clarify, that was a new pistol that needed a little wear on the trigger. I do not dry fire practice draws, only live fire at the range.

I normally use a snap cap when I dry fire practice.  Sometimes I don't.  I would not habitually do it without a snap cap, but I'm not a snap cap Nancy.  The owners manual only mentions it only in disassembly.  Get some snap caps and don't stress.

My short answer is yes. My P10 came with a plastic round with a foam insert but it is long lost.

Should I?  Probably not…..but it’s a tool. If it breaks I’ll fix it.

Gun only has about 3k rounds through it and I figure it’s been dry fired about 500 times.

Put a little oil on a q tip and apply to the sear surfaces. They’ll burnish nicely in short order.

I religiously use snap caps with all my guns and my new p07 bought new in October came with a snap cap in the box which says to me that CZ would prefer you use them for dry fire. They are inexpensive on Amazon especially if you buy the bulk pack and I have them in each caliber I own.
