CZ P09 .22 issue with rounds not loading

Hi everybody,

New user and first topic.

I have an issue with my roughly 12 month old CZ P09 .22 pistol. When firing rounds rapidly the pistol usually works just fine. But as I'm mostly doing precision shooting, I normally squeeze the trigger slowly and here is when I start having issues. The first round usually goes off but the rounds that follows is a russian roulette. After pulling the slide the pistol works as normal. I have experienced this issue since I purchased it. I have tried different brands of ammunition and also different recoil spring (red one that's included in the box). The pistol is regularly cleaned and lubed up. What is the issue here?

Are you possibly limp writing the pistol?  Try to stiffen your wrist when you are firing slowly.  I had an issue with my Buckmark until a friend noticed I wasn’t holding the pistol firmly.

I've shot the pistol by holding it firmly, that doesn't affect anything in my case. It just seems like if I pull the trigger fast/hard - less/no issues I'm experiencing. No matter how I hold the pistol.
