P-01 "Fixing insert" - what is that?

I bought my first decocker CZ (second hand P-01), so I'm that into decocker gunsmithig.

Can someone tell me what is the function of "fixing insert"? I don't have it my gun.

That little disc keeps the sear pin in place on the left side of the gun. My decockers to include 3 PCR's and a 75BD all have it.
