CZ P-01 and P-01Omega accessory interchangeability.

Good evening dear members.

I purchased a CZ P-01 Omega earlier this year and want to look at some light or light/laser accessories for it. I know I'll consider adding some more accessories or features to it as time progresses. I've noticed not many CZ P-01 Omega ONLY deals.

My main question is, is the accessories (like lights/lasers/sights/grips/mag wells) you can buy for the P-01 interchangeable of usable on the P-01 Omega?

I can only give you one example on holsters.

I bought an IWB holster from White Hat Holsters for my P01 Omega.  I had to modify the holster with heat and large common screw driver.

The reason, I think, was the P01 only has the decocker on the left side of the frame.  The P01 Omega has the decockers, or safeties (I use safeties) on both sides of the frame.  The right side safety was being pushed from SAFE to FIRE position from contact with the kydex.  The heat gun and screw driver reformed that spot in the kydex to hold the right side thumb safety in the SAFE position while the gun is in the holster.

As to lights/lasers, there shouldn't be any difference.  If you go to the CZ USA website the only thing the description of the P01 and the P01 Omega shows about the rail is, "With an integral accessory rail on its dust cover"  The descriptions use the same wording so the rail dimensions are probably the same.  I don't have a regular/decocker P01 though.

Thank you for your help. I checked and the dimensions on both the P-01 and P-01 Omega are exaclty the same per CZ USA. As you say lights and lasers would then be interchangeable.

I figured holsters would be a problem. Do you know of any half holsters or only holstering more of the middle and bottom of the weapon? I'm fairly new to holsters and don't know which brands and types are better and which to stay away from.

Highnoon holsters has models that fit both fine.  They are indeed identical weapons - only the lockwork is changed, but the decocker lever is quite different which does differ for holsters.
