I bought a CZ P-10S recently and even though it functions well and has decent sights and even looks good, my overall impression is that it is somewhat disappointing. Underwhelming, I should say. I was hoping it would be a good carry option with a great trigger. It is OK, but I like my Cajunized P-07 much much better and shoot better with it. Not really a fair comparison.
But to make a more fair comparison, I also have a Canik Mete MC9. The P-10s 3.5" barrel ought to outshoot the Canik's little 3.18" barrel, but it does not. The MC9 outshoots the P-10S every time. The trigger on the MC9 is probably the best striker fired trigger I have ever felt, with the possible exception of my modified Canik TP9 Elite.
Anyway, the P-10S isn't an improvement over a Glock of the same size. And like the OP, the trigger break weight is more than I want it to be. I suppose I could invest in Cajunization, but this gun just doesn't do anything for me that is special. It functions, but I like others better for carry.
