Nope!  We just like everyone who uses the Forum to be familiar with the local rules.

Getting back to your issue with your Pistol, you may find the Video below to be of interest:

Yep watched that too. Ok now some more weird bleep. I got a 941FS yesterday, ran through ultrasonic cleaned, dried and lubricated. Today I removed the FP and spring to cleaned out channel, put back together and now this one the safety will not engage. The FP plug is not going down far enough to allow the safety to move up.  So now both guns are the same, won’t engage safety. Come on! New lesson with surplus I guess, don’t remove FP and spring ever! Lol

If at first you don't succeed...............don't do what you did the first time.........again!  ::)

Were I there, I could probably sort it out for you..........but since I'm not.  ;)

Please seek out the services of a good Gunsmith in your area, who is familiar with Cz/Tanfoglio designs.
Don't go to someone who only works on 1911's or S&W Revolvers or high end Rifles.

Also, should you go to a Gunsmith, please post what had to be fixed so we can understand what the problem was.

Is it possible that you installed the firing pin retaining plate backwards? Not even sure if that’s possible, just thinking out loud.

I even tried it backwards, no difference. When the FP locks into the safety plunger the shoulder is sticking up past channel. When you put cover on FP no longer locks into plunger. Now I must say on the second gun I tried to see if FP is locked when at rest and it was not but the gun still functioned.
