Daylite scopes?
« on: July 20, 2023, 04:32:19 PM »
Anyone know anything about Daylite scopes, made in Japan? I have not been able to find zip about them online, other than a couple of ads listing them one for sale here and there. I am sure by the price that they are not high-end optics, but I am considering purchasing one if not total junk. Also gther that they are probably no longer made, listed as "vintage"

I'll add this just for informational purposes. In another forum I gleaned that they were one of several economical offerings, possibly made by "Haakko" or some similar spelling. I have seen listings for them with "Weaver" on the turret base, and without though otherwise identical, so likely they produced economy glass for various firms. Probably on par with several Japanese produced optics of the time.
