First question is, do you upgrade your EDC? Does introducing new parts ever worry you about reliability (if self installed)?
I'll upgrade if it needs it. As long as you're using parts from a reputable company (and Cajun is certainly reputable) and installing them correctly, it's rarely an issue. The other half of the equation is testing what you have, especially with your carry ammo. If something is beyond your confidence and/or abilities, take it to a professional.
Also if I do get that kit, how is the install?
If you have a non-Omega, the most difficult part of the install is the sear cage assembly. As long as you follow the tutorials on Cajun's website, it's not super hard. Buying their tools and using a magnetic gun mat also goes a long way.
Another thing to keep in the back of your mind is "Don't fix what isn't broken." I great piece of advice I was once given is "Get it to where you want it and leave it alone." What I like about CGW is that they offer all the individual parts of their kits, so you can scale up to what you want. My suggestion is to start out with one of their Ultralite kits and see where you sit then. If you still feel like the gun needs work, then get the additional parts to scale up to their SRS kit. If you're still not satisfied, then get a hammer and disconnector. The last thing I'd add is the trigger shoe as that's mostly a preference thing. If you end up with the whole shebang at the end, you'll have spent a few dollars more than just buying the whole kit at once, but if at any point you stop short, you'll have saved yourself much more.
