You might be able to save it with some Birchwood Casey cold blue. Another trick I use to fix gouges in the CZ polycoat is universal black touch up paint from an auto store - matches polycoat perfectly and works on sights too.
DP sights, for all their merits, mar easily. To avoid this, put a layer or two of masking tape over the sight before you install it. That will protect the finish, even from a sight pusher. You can even put a few layers of duct tape over the aluminum punches they give you, and that works for a couple whacks, but not many more.
Don't worry about it. We've all been there. It's just part of the learning experience.
