Nexus Firearms
« on: September 12, 2023, 01:25:29 AM »
Hello,
September 3rd I placed an order for a Nexus Firearms Scorpion enhanced striker block.  Went through the payment system on their website and got an order number.  It went through my bank account and the status shows “awaiting fulfillment”.  I attempted emailing and calling them for status checks with no luck.

Anyone else have this problem?  Or, is there company still running?

Just curious if I lost my $45 bucks, or if this is a normal problem that others here have had.

Thanks.

If you paid via credit card, then some states allow you XX days to demand a refund. In Georgia it's 90 days.

I used a debit card.  Don’t know what TX allows.

Yeah, I had a similar issue with them. They didn’t acknowledge my order or respond to emails requesting a tracking number and were slow about fulfilling the order…which eventually arrived, shorted a part, which eventually arrived after I brought the shorted part to their attention. They were apologetic, but their customer service leaves something to be desired.

Do you remember how long the order took to be fulfilled?

I used a debit card.

All your consumer advocates types will tell you those things are bad news. The minute you give them the number the money is gone. No consumer protection at all.

I sincerely hope you're not going to need any type of recourse. Credit cards, postal money orders and PayPal... that's about it for having any type of control in these situations.

Best wishes for a positive outcome.

Update:  it now shows “shipped”, so I will be looking forward to receiving it.  Hopefully this will help keep my Scorpion from blowing its side out.

Just so someone like me doesn't read this thread and think nexus is a bad deal. It's not . The guy is a one man shop . I found him under nexus bolt discussion on Redit . He responded to me right away . The place is A++++++

I ordered complete bolts from them (2). They fulfilled one. It took 3 months of me chasing them down to finally get them to send the bolt I was missing.
Got a sob story about moving locations and lots of promises to get one shipped. I finally nailed the guy down on Reddit and just kept bombarding him.
Until he gets his fulfillment together and back to normal, beware and be prepared to bother him.

Complete FUD.  The only place you hear about that is on reddit where Nexus likes to post.  Anything from Nexus Firearms is completely unnecessary.

Wow - that’s something!!!

Did they figure out what caused it to explode?

Did it blow up while they were shooting full auto, or did it go full auto because it blew up?

Maybe the suppressor created too much back pressure?

Don't shoot a gun with the full auto safety sear removed in full auto?  Or even stupider binary?
