I have a cz 455 sold to me as a precision trainer .  I'm not certain if it is or another model.  Is there a serial number lookup
Or can you tell by markings

The CZ-USA web site has a picture and description of the 455 Precision Trainer rifle in its discontinued product area. I don't believe that different versions of the 455 series rifles had their own serial number lines. The CZ-USA site says the 455 Precision was discontinued in 2018 when it was replaced by the 457 Precision Trainer.

Those two models look very different. PT has a heavy profile barrel and a Manners stock. American has a walnut stock and thinner barrel.

As alp3367 mentioned the Precision Trainer has the Manners stock a 455 Trainer would have a beech wood stock that has the European style "hogs back" butt stock comb drop and the American 455 would have a straight combed walnut stock. A picture would help with the identification. They are three distinctly different looking rifles.

Std Trainers had a beech wood stock with 24” barrel and schnabel end stock with the open sights and a butstock that tapered down hogs back as above mentioned. I own one myself Bloody ripper gun

Precision had manners stocks only and shorter 18/20” bbl
