I got to test out both the TS2 as well as the Shadow 2. The trigger on the TS2 is one of the best triggers i've ever experienced. The thing is the Shadow felt better in the hand but I wasn't a fan of the trigger, even in SA. Has anyone had experience trying to replicate the TS2 trigger in a shadow? If so how close does it compare and what would be the required parts? Thank you.

The CGW kit will get you about as close as you can get, actually better than SOME TSs I've shot. But you can also make the S2 SAO and basically have the same trigger as the TS, though you might only get 95% there since the S2 doesn't have the tiny springs on the rear of the sear cage (assuming the new TSs still have that)

Is this the kit you are talking about?

For the SAO conversion, is there any other changes needed other than removing the disconnector?

Yes, that's the current kit. The blue spring is adequately light, and makes the break feel more crisp than the black one sometimes.

For SAO, if you aren't changing the hammer and sear, then you aren't going to change the trigger feel.

I don't think SAO is necessary to make the S2 better, but it is simpler, possibly easier/faster, and it is required if you want the trigger bow on the SAO S2 or TS2.

You're welcome. For the record. There are several SAO trigger options. CZ, CGW, and the OEM one. A fourth option is the S2 SAO style. Check Armory Craft. I don't like the polymer TS trigger, the aluminum version of it is more rigid

After polishing, or after about 1000 rounds or so, the TS (not TS2, but they are basically the same internally) trigger breaks between 1 lb 8oz to 1 lb 12oz between specimens. This is with competition hammer from CZC.
The lowest I have seen a shadow variant break is just around 2 lbs. But its very close in terms of feel with the TS. Of course the Shadow variants would need competition hammer and polishing/shooting as well. Lighter main spring, reduced power firing pin spring, extended firing pin get it to just below 2 lbs at best.
Life is too short to waste on a bad trigger pull

The TS variants (TS, TSO, TS2, TS2O) have a different trigger return spring, no triggerbar spring, and a different triggerbar.  They also have a stabilized sear cage.  There is less friction on the trigger movement and thus it has a lighter pull weight.

You can stabilize the standard CZ75 sear cage (including the S2) a couple of different ways but the most common is to replace the hammer pin and fit an extended pin as detailed here:  https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=85892.0

Installing a CGW competition hammer and sear kit along with a SAO trigger will get the feel very close to a TS but not quite the same due to the differences in the triggerbar designs.

Cheers,
Toby

I just purchased the SAO version and love the trigger pull as is, much better than the standard shadow 2 in single action (not sure why). The only thing I am looking into now is a good SAO trigger shoe to change the teal trigger it has stock.

The SAO trigger on the SA is what you are most likely appreciating.  When you convert a standard S2 you also should swap out the trigger to get the full advantage of a shorter trigger pull/reset.
