CZ-75 Compact Night Sights
« on: December 11, 2023, 02:39:45 PM »
I just picked up a new CZ-75 compact for 500 dollars. I already have a pre-b cz-75. I honestly thought the trigger was going to be much worse with the firing pin block but it's not that bad. I am looking for a good pair of night sights. What models would you all recommend?

I have a 75B and a P-01. I went with the Meprolight Tru Dots on the 75B and the Dawson Precision Tritium Sights on the P-01.  They both seem to be bright and function great as night sights.  On the range where I do most of my shooting......obviously, I find it hard to see the sights if the light isn't right often shooting at a black or dark target etc.

The Tru-Dot front site is a little easier to pick up during the day for some reason generally.  It's slightly angled which may allow it to pick up more ambient light.

I am considering switching to a fiber optic front sight set up.  I don't yet have a CCW so the use/purpose of these are HD and Range fun.  I was hoping to see more conversation on your post!  So, here's a start.

What do you have on your 75?  Do you intend to carry, or just want night sights?

I've bought/installed the those Tru Dot night sights on one Compact, one P01 Omega and my CZ75B .40.  I don't carry any of them as I have to be wearing glasses to see the front sights these days.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I installed XS DXT2 Big Dots on my PCR. They are visible in any light, daylight, low light, or no light. While they’re not precision sights, they’re accurate enough for their purpose. I like them.
