You might want to give these a shot.  They should use the standard CZ retention plate.  They are contoured at the top for a magwell and should work.  I'd call Henning and talk with them to make sure on the SP-01.  They will fit the magazine but I'm not sure the magwell is the same on the SP-01.

Thanks for the suggestion.  However, note the location of the slide-on slots.  They would leave the body of that pad wrapping upward around the mag body, adding basically nothing to extend the mag assembly below the bottom of the factory magwell and probably not allow the mag to fit into the mag opening in the pistol frame - strange design (to me).  That noted, I looked around a little on their site and found this base, https://www.henningshop.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=1536033&CAT=10024  The associated text poses questions regarding my application.  I'll call them on Monday to get clarification.

Thanks again for pointing me at that site.

Uhm, the link you posted is the same magbase I posted.  Did you find something different?

The magazine you posted should fit this mag base.

Cheers,
Toby

Somewhere along the way I got lost and thought you had referred me to https://www.henningshop.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=1291103&CAT=10024

I just pulled the hammer on one piece, will order more if it works out.  Best thing about this design is that its very easy to install AND, if it works with the CA 10 rd, it should work with the factory high-cap...once CA's 10-rd law "goes away).

I'll also continue my "dialog" with Armory.  That product would be preferred with its flat bottom, compared to the "meat tenderizer" Henning.

Thanks for the tip.  Appreciated!

UPDATE - I finally realized that I would never be happy with the meat-mallet bottom "feature", so am trying to cancel that order.  Hopefully Armory will have what I'm looking for.

Another update.

Spoke with Armory earlier this AM.  Their mag base pad product image is NOT current.  There is NO hole in the bottom of the pad.

The current product has a set screw coming in from the top. That does NOT work for my factory restricted mags because the position of the screw hole (too far inboard) does not allow insertion of the screw.

At least the guy I spoke with at Armory said they know of the image problem and will correct it.

I've looked really hard for an extended pad that is (1) flat on the bottom (I don't care if there is a logo - but only a logo), (2) has the center hole to engage and restrain the pad using the factory "magazine base lock" with the protruding pin on the bottom to fit into the hole in the base pad, and (3) will correctly fit inside the CZ factory magwell (https://shop.cz-usa.com/aluminum-magwell-large-frame-black40280.html). But I've been tapping out. My last (?) try is Springer Precision - who I've e-mailed (they don't accept phone calls) re my combo.  Not hopeful, the pad images appear to show that its front edge is too far forward to fit inside.  Ugg!

The journey continues...

I sent Springer pics (with a scale next to each view) of the CZ SP-01, CA-compliant, Mec-Gar, 10-rd, blue follower mag.  They don't think their base will fit inside the factory CZ magwell.  IF anyone is actually using that combo AND it fits, please advise.  Thanks.

Combo components:

1. CZ factory magwell - https://www.armorycraft.com/product-page/cz-75-aluminum-magwell (where I bought because no stock at CZ); CZ-USA product page https://shop.cz-usa.com/aluminum-magwell-large-frame-black40280.html

2. CZ SP-01, CA-compliant, Mec-Gar, 10-rd, blue follower mag - https://shop.cz-usa.com/11132.html

3. Springer pad - https://shop.springerprecision.com/cz-9mm-basepad-factory-16-rd-magazines/

Last (?) ext pad option that may work (with same 1 and 2 parts) - https://czcustom.com/cz75-mec-gar-bp-ext-for-magwell.html  Anybody using that combo with success?  Yes, silver, and I want black...

Thanks.
