I finally made it to the range this week to shoot some rounds through my finest, highest round count, polymer hammer gun, the P-09 that I got from 75Plus 11 years ago. Same pistol that is in the video that I posted a few weeks ago, in remembrance of 75Plus.
Wednesday I went to the range to take a few shots just to get a feel for the fine old hammer gun again. No video, and we had some wind. I struggled some, but it was a good day. Thursday I returned for a calmer day and I brought the video gear, which I also hadn't "shot" with in months, so I was clumsy with the video gear. But I shot the pistol fairly well considering the lack of practice.
Here is a shortened cherry picked video of the last target of the day. I did make a little zero change after two twenty round targets, so this one at least got the group centered on the target in very light wind.

I don't always hold the dot on the target perfectly or else all the hits would be in the black. It is also a very soft shooter, even softer than the later P-10F pistol.
I may get a Primary Machine barrel for this gun, not that it needs it, I just want to change something up since it is so much fun to shoot, and is easier to shoot well than the striker pistols.
I still love the P-09/07 platform, even while doing my best to shoot the P-10 platform pistols when I can.
This is fun. This is not easy.
