Who makes the longest slide stop lever for the Shadow 2?
« on: February 09, 2024, 11:21:16 PM »

I’m looking for the slide stop with the most length and leverage for the Shadow 2.

Apparently, the Shadow 2 slide stop is also compatible with the Rami and the P-01…

Thanks!

This is the only one I have experience with. It is much bigger than the stock one for sure:

Yeah, that’s probably the longest, biggest one I’ve found. Works on my P-01, but not on my Rami BD as it interferes with the left rubber grip panel, which would need to be trimmed for it to work. The other one that works on the Rami is from Ben Stoeger Pro Shop is slightly shorter than the CGW part, but offers good grip purchase:

Of the two, the Ben Stoeger part is probably the best for snag-free concealed carry. (Note: Ben Stoeger Pro Shop is a hell of a lot easier to deal with than the idiots at czc.)

What I’d really like is a much longer slide stop for better leverage and ease of use for CZ 75 decockers, akin to that of the HK P-30 or Browning HP. Not sure why CZ used such a stubby slide stop, especially on the Rami, which requires changing your grip on the strong hand to release the slide.
