Looking for Rami magazine sleeves and extended mag release

I don’t need the whole 14-rd magazine, just the extended magazine sleeve. They used to be available by themselves for a few bucks.

Also looking for an extended mag release or a CZ mag release that will fit, but give me a longer button to push.

Howdy from Sacramento!  I put a P01 mag release in my Rami, and it works like a charm. Slightly more raised than the stock Rami release.

How much taller, would you say, is the P-01 mag release than the Rami’s?

I Wonder what other mag releases would work on the Rami?

My Rami’s mag release button is shaped like a skeleton keyhole (like the P-01), not perfectly round or D-shaped.

I ordered the extended mag release for the 75 series from Cajun Gun Works (part number 32ES), thinking I would use it on the Rami. IMO, it was too tall in the Rami for its intended use as a daily carry, as I felt it may allow for inadvertent releases under stressful situations.  I put the extended release in my P01 and the stock P01 release in my Rami.

The stock P01 release was perfect height for me, about .083  off the flat surface of the Rami frame.  The CGW extended mag release is about .200 high off the flat surface of the P01 frame.  Not sure how much the stock Rami release compares in height off the Rami frame when compared to the P01.  I'd have to re-install the stock Rami release to measure, but you could measure yours and see how it compares w the measurements I took.

CGW has lots of good info on their site as to what fits what - I use them for most of my CZ stuff.

I find the Rami mag release to be too short and difficult to engage and operate, especially in a stress situation, so I may try a few different lengths of mag release and see which one works best.

Using a caliper to measure, I see that the Rami mag release measures @ 27mm end to end and the P-01 mag release measures @ 29mm. So a P-01 mag release in a Rami would gain you @ 2mm.

I’ve also heard that the SP-01 Shadow mag release will fit the P-01 and Rami. Anyone know how long the SP-01 Shadow mag release is?

CZ Custom says their extended mag release, which they say is the one for the SP-01 Shadow, is 4mm or 3/16" longer than the standard release.

I have one of these in all my compact frames. I've been thinking about trying one in my Rami. I have a standard release from a P-01 installed now. While it's better than the factory Rami release, it still isn't quite what I want. It isn't as "extended" on the Rami as the extended release is on the P-01.
