Suppressor for my cz22

The barrel on my 457 is 1/2” x 20.   Are there any suppressors in that thread size in the US?

Interesting!
I have a Marlin model 1897 22 that was made in 1906 that is threaded 1/2-20 for a Maxim Silencer . I'm not aware of any modern manufactured that are threaded in 1/2-20 and finding an original is impossible let alone affordable. It will be interesting if anything turns up available.

I’m not sure why Cz usa would thread their barrels so suppressors made in the USA would require cutting the barrel and threading to 1/2” x 28.    I should have dug deeper before buying

Update.    Silencer central sells an adapter so a 1/2 x 20 can screw into any of the 1/2 x 28/s they offer.    But still, what the heck are they thinking at Cz usa?!?!

CZ 457 Royal. 16 1/2” barrel

It must be a common thing since silencer central has a machined adapter made for fitting the 28 tpi suppressor onto 20 tpi barrel.  Even they don’t sell a suppressor in 1/2 x 20.   I wanted the 16.5 barrel knowing I’d add a suppressor.

They still sell multiple models with the euro-spec thread size. The 457 Premium has it too, and a batch of euro-spec 457 training rifles came to the US last year. The adapters are widely available and work fine.

I was thinking they probably do not sell many of the 457 Royals so they may have lots left ?
