From the pic, appears to adopt a sig take down, possibly a removable FCU ( but can’t confirm from this pic alone) and an ambidextrous manual safety.

Another thought on what appears to be a manual safety- perhaps it’s a decocker for an action similar to the Walther P99 AS?

I do like the P10 series, having both a C ( Czech made) & S (US assembled).

The shape of that grip is reminicent of the CZ 100.

Its a removable firing group gun.  It can be seen lating on the table in this video and the guy actually shoots it .

Interesting. Looks similar to P-10C. Looks like it uses current P-10C mags with double cuts. Grip texture is different. Magwell opening is different, maybe cutouts are to help aid stripping mag out. Slide serrations look deeper. Rear sight appears to slope and hang over slide a bit at the rear. Appears to have a manual safety, hopefully that's just an option and not on all production models. Looks to have a full picatinny rail. And of course an optic cut. Also appears to have ambi mag release.Hmm.

That new pistol looks interesting! The Sig-style takedown is a nice touch, and I’m curious about that manual safety—it could be a decocker like on the Walther P99 AS, which would be cool.

I’ve had a good run with the P10 series myself. My Czech-made C model has been a solid performer, and the US-assembled S version is great too. Funny enough, I recently stumbled upon a site called 9mm Pit Viper. It’s kind of neat—just last month, I ordered a few parts from them, and their customer service was top-notch. The parts worked perfectly, and it was a smooth experience from start to finish. They’ve got a good vibe going on there.

A post on another forum seems to indicate there will be a full size (P09) and compact (P07) version.  Biggest improvement being optic ready, but there seem to be other smaller differences as well.

One thing no one has mentioned yet about the P07 versus the P09c nocturne is that the pic rail is like the P 10 series. It is no longer the traditional pic rail.

Well now, first I’ve heard of that. I’d think that as well. But then again I haven’t seen more than …maybe 3?… video reviews on them. That’s the next biggest thing, in my estimation, to the optic cut. An upgrade that might lure more current owners into trading up. I look at most else as cosmetic buff and fluff, great and all, and a definite refreshing to the line, but not earthmoving.

The thought crossed my mind to pick a P09C up since a local gun store has 2 in stock.  But!  I remembered why I traded my beloved P07 in on my P10S.  The hammer action (double/single) vs striker action.  I enjoy the consistent trigger pull much more.  It is a sweet looking, and I am sure performing handgun though.

The only video I've seen mentioning this is the TheFirearmGuy.  He may have meant the full length rails in the slide as it has always been.  The frame on the P07/P09 gen 2 have partial rails on the frame, so It was not clear if these are now full length on the P09C/F.  I guess it remains to be seen.
