… The frame on the P07/P09 gen 2 have partial rails on the frame, so It was not clear if these are now full length on the P09C/F.  I guess it remains to be seen.

Maybe somebody will chime in and confirm one way or the other. As much cross-compatibility as they say there is between Gen 2 and the new P09 C/F it would surprise me. Seems like it might take a major redesign to make room for full frame rails.

Exactly.......... I'm guessing he meant to say full length rails on the slide.  Which would not be a change.

I did a field strip of my P09-C.  It's got full slide rails and partial frame rails.  I'm pretty sure that part of the gun is the same as the P07.  Can't say for certain because I've never owned a P07.

Yes, that sound the same as the P07.  Sorry for any confusion.

When I compare the P-09c to my ODG P-07, the internals look identical, including the frame rails. There are a two minor external dimensional changes between the two. One is the P-09C slide are a touch taller and wider at the top. The trigger guard is also a little lower. It is enough to make the P-09c a tight fit in my Tier 1 Concealment holster. The slides interchange between the two without issue and function properly.

Could you post a picture of the two slides side by side?

I'm always interested and curious when I hear about something new coming out.  If it is a new P-10 line, I'm gonna be a might bit sore if they decide it needs yet another/different clip (magazine) that isn't compatible with the previous P-10 that wasn't compatible with the one before that.
If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer.
