Hello and nice to connect with you all!
A friend of mine is currently using a CZ TS 2 silver (
https://www.czub.cz/en/firearms-and-products-product/cz-ts-2) and it has the trigger pull weight of approx. 600 grams.
We are competing in WA1500 PPC in Romania and the rule states that we need to have a minimum trigger pull weight of 1360 grams.
We've found some solutions over the internet, but nothing worked so far:
- Tried to change the main spring with one that has 16 lbs (isn't this the factory tension?) - increased trigger pull weight from 600 grams to 800 grams.
- Tried to change the trigger and the trigger spring, but the new trigger didn't have the small hole where the trigger spring inserts. So we left the original one.
We did a lot of research and we believe there isn't an existing kit on the market to increase the trigger pull weight on a TS 2, probably because everyone is trying to make it lighter for other competition formats.
I've read somewhere that on a CZ TS (first edition TS) you can increase trigger pull weight with a tanfoglio sear spring or by installing one more sear spring (so there will be two installed, but requires work done by a gunsmith), in parallel with mounting a stronger main spring - we didn't try these.
So my question is - what should we do to increase trigger pull weight a little bit over 1360 grams (maybe 1400, 1500 gr) in order to be legal for competition? If you can post the links with the gun parts it will be awesome, preferably from shops within the EU.
Many thanks,
Andrei
