The range trip yesterday was a continuation of testing extraction and trying out the new sights.
I'll start off with the target from 10 yards standing. The 75B in .40 is just a sweet shooting gun. I ran 150 rounds through it using both Magtech and Federal 180gr. I shot for groups and and alternated targets. When I do my part, you can see the nice groups. I used a combat hold after shooting low. The targets are 5-3/4" outer, 3-1/4" in the gray and the bullseye is 1". I shot steels at 20 yards, took a few mags on the 50 yard steel, but was unsuccessful at the 100 yard steel. I did however, split the wood post the 100 yard steel is mounted on. [emoji849]

Extraction was flawless. I had installed a Wolff spring and put a bit of an edge on the extractor. 400 rounds later not one failure. I am confident this is resolved.
On to the Mepro sights. I was familiar with their Tru Dots as they were the factory sights on my 97BD. I really like them. Looking at what was available for the 75B, I found the Hyper Bright sights. I figured for $77.00, I'd give them a try. Installation went smooth, save for having to put a groove in the base of the front sight for the retention pin. Tedious work, but not difficult. Rear fit perfect.
Shot below is ambient light.

Here is a shot of the front with reflective light. The ring around the tritium insert really pops.

I charged the ring with my flashlight for about 10 seconds in this shot.

The sights really do a nice job for me. I like the blacked out rear and bright green ring out front in full sun. Partial light and shooting from shade under the roof at the target area showed they provide an excellent sight picture in "low" light conditions. They are essentially the same as the Tru Dots at night.
I'm lovin' this glossy blue 75B more and more.
