Hello everyone, my name is Tom. Been lurking for a while. I found this site while searching for some answers as to why my newly purchased pistol did not like to chamber my in spec. reloads. I found a tremendous amount of helpful information by the way but I digress.
I have recently purchased my 2nd CZ. A CZ75 Compact PCR Custom. I also have a P-09.
While shopping and from the forum here I notice that the most of the CZ75 Compact line show shipping with 14 round magazines. Some occasionally will show 15 round magazines. (Mine shipped with 2- 15 round magazines.)
I also notice that the P-01 shows it mostly ships with the 15 round magazine, and occasionally shows shipping with the 14 round magazine.
I also see that the RAMI ships with a 14 round magazine with the finger extension which I would assume is the same 14 round magazine as used by the others.
So, what gives, why the difference, what is the differences, isn't the grip the same on all of these? The CZ 75 Compact, The PCR, and the P-01, and the magazines are interchangeable. If the length of the grip supports a 15 round magazine why limit it to 14?
Is one more reliable than the other. 14 vs 15?
I also noticed that for the P-09 which carries a 19 round mag, they made a 15 round mag as well. WHY? The Magazine has to still be the same size as the 19 round to fit the gun so if you only want 15 rounds just put 15 in it.
