Cz512 trigger assembly
« on: May 26, 2024, 11:58:04 PM »
I recently bought a new CZ512 tactical and got it home from the shop with the hammer down (dry fired).

However , with the hammer down (dry fired ) I pressed the trigger to  get a better feel of the rifle.

I wanted to know if pressing the trigger on the rifle with the hammer already down , would do any damage to the rifle?
I can hear a little spring noise in the trigger , even with the safety on. Not sure if this is normal.

I have a 2018 512 Tactical...Feels smooth, no noise that I can hear. This is one CZ that I haven't torn into, so can't help with internal function. I can say mine will go full auto for 2-3 rounds every once in a while. Probably should use high velocity ammo to cycle properly. Happens with CCI Standards. No noise with trigger though.
