Cz 52 slide issue

Went to the range yesterday and when I fired, the gun went off, the empyt ejected but the slide locked back as if the weapon was empty. It had full magazines. What might be the issue. I did clean and oil it prior to the range session.

The slide hold-open bar has a little spring that tugs it down until the follower rises to push it up.  Double-check that the little spring is hooked over the hold-open correctly.

Look at parts 19 and 20.

My CZ52 did that shortly after I acquired it.  It was pretty obvious that it was the little spring. I gently bent the end hook to make a more secure connection and it's been find ever since.
