Tapatalk?

Is anyone using Tapatalk? Tried to get to the forum but it won’t navigate the network and just throws an error message with incorrect password. Only use it to post pictures because that’s how I roll. No Tapa, no for sale post picture - technology blocked again!

It's not just you.  I can see posts on tapatalk but cannot post anything from there.  It asks me to login then gives something about a server error.

I'm using Tapatalk right now to reply.
I upgraded a while back so I could be able to post more than one photo at a time (limit on free version).

Tapatalk is now malfunctioning for me. Same issue described by Toby

I just tried to use Tapatalk to reply to this thread and it prompted me with:

The Original CZ Forum
* Log In
* Register
* Not Now

I selected Log In and entered my credentials.
It gave me a "Password Incorrect" momentary pop up on the bottom of the screen.

Selecting "Not Now" just went back to the thread display.
Something is wrong with Tapatalk or its interface to the Forum.

Yeah there is some techno-Covid thing going on. On day one I dumped the app and reloaded from scratch- no bueno.

Tapatalk works pretty good with most cellphones and Chromebooks, especially for posting photos. But you will still need to resize your photos to meet forum size standards.

If you are an Android user, you might check out a Chromebook for about $200. It's a full-size laptop running Android OS. You log in using your Google ID and password. In the hierarchy of things, it "sits" about half-way between a phone and a laptop.

• Uses Android apps, not expensive applications
• No expensive hard drive, you save your work to Google Drive
• You'll see more detailed images because you have a 14 or 15" screen
• You'll have a full-size keyboard
• You can send/receive your text messages
• You can log-in to CZF and scan/post just like a laptop
• My HP Chromebook has 11 hours of battery backup
• Anything you do on the Web with a phone can be done better, easier and faster on a Chromebook.

These are really handy devices. It's all I travel with anymore.

I have been using Fora for my other gun related forums, and it has been working well enough without the intrusions of Tapatalk.

CZ Talk is available there, but it isn't much different than being on reddit, so I don't use it.

I really miss being on this forum where I actually learn stuff.

Don't think I would make that statement.

* CZF has not knowingly done anything or implemented any changes at this end to inhibit Tapatalk.

* Tapatalk may have implemented some change in their software to exclude gun-friendly sites.

* Or, there may simply be some new incompatibility between the 2 software packages that won't allow them to work together. If this is the case, the next update to either package may change it back.
