TS2 bull barrel
« on: November 12, 2024, 05:40:33 PM »
Does anyone know of anyone that manufactures a bull barrel for a TS2? I'm looking at setting up my TS2 with a checkmate style compensator. But in order to do so I need to take out the factory bushing. And I would still like to be able to run a barrel without the compensator. Hence the need of a bull barrel as well. Also does anyone have a clue where I could find a checkmate guide rod or the specs for one so I could make one

I think your going to run into many issues.  You may be better off just purchasing a checkmate.

CZ Custom makes bull barrel uppers for CZ's.  Maybe they can help you?

Good Luck!

The guide rod is the easy part. Just copy the dimensions of the foot on the one you have and then add the length you want.

Why not a threaded barrel that works with factory bushing? And a compensator to suit the barrel threads. CZC makes threaded barrels for TS.

I want to see it happen! It can happen. It may take a lot of work and $$$ but I love seeing stuff built instead of bought.
I WILL say that for me - when I see someone running a comp they had better also be running Major power factor ammo to "run the comp" or else they will get the "fake bead locks eye roll"...
Here is my gun - https://rumble.com/v288zdb-glock-comp-on-czsp-01-openracegun-install-test-and-fail.html?e9s=src_v1_ucp
https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=118183.msg920000#msg920000

Also note that I have tried (and failed on multiple occasions) to have a screw on comp hold time while shooting major power factor ammo. I can have my gun timed and shoot "wussy" minor PF or even self defense power factor (gold dots) and it will keep time. But who cares because the comp is doing basically nothing - it is there for show and to make friends that don't know go "ooooh I want that on my gun..."

But then when I put in the major PF rounds the comp holds time for about 2 mags then it starts unscrewing. So that is my major conundrum. I may try it again sometime in the future but for now I just shoot pin matches and other low PF rounds and the comp holds. But dang when it ran major it was fun!
