so any missing part would be sent out, if that's the case just tell them you gun was missing the part you want and they will sent it. simple fix to this problem.

“Hello, CZ-USA customer service? Hi, my 5.56 Bren 2Ms pistol arrived today at my local gun shop, but it was missing the entire barrel and gas system assemblies…uh huh, and can you make that the barrel and gas assembly for the 16” carbine, and throw in a ‘moon boot’ butt stock for my trouble? Awesome! Thank you!”

I sense this thread is about to become as scarce as CZ parts.

Well, i have found a couple of parts online. Had to resort to ebay to find them and the parts are used, they don't appear abused however. This is not how I wanted to get these parts, but if CZ-UB and CZ-USA won't supply them, oh well.

Not to dredge up an old topic but I thought this was funny.

I had placed an order for replacement slide stops for my shadow 2 since I got word they were in stock at CZ USA back on July 8th 2024.  Well apparently they went out of stock before my order was filled and after talking with CZ about it, I thought the backorder was cancelled but I honestly can't remember if I kept the backorder or not?

Well about a week or so ago, I got a charge on my credit card from CZ USA.  The email that sent the invoice didn't specify what it was for but the amount looked familiar.  So I called them and the customer service rep looked up my account and got all giddy, he was shocked and kept on stating something to the effect of "no way! I can't believe it!".  He finally got around to it and clarified that the order was for the replacement slide stops and that he had been waiting for these to come back in stock for a year!  Apparently there were folks that he personally had contact information on his desk to contact when these became available again (folks that had contacted them so many times or IDK ??). Regardless, I have replacement slide stops now.  They arrived promptly once shipped (from Kansas!).

I just looked at CZ USA and they are out of stock again.  So if anyone needs a slide stop, get in line, they will come through eventually.  Or I could let one go for the right price O0!

Cheers,
Toby

Same happened to me years ago. Within an order of several parts, one part was later declared out of stock. Then almost a year later I was contacted because they were ready to ship out!

There will be loyal CZ fans who will jump in defending CZ.  I love CZ but there is no excuse for the way they support customers.  I’ve owned S&W, Walter, Ruger, and Sig and they all are heads above.

CZ has their issues at the moment and the military contracts along with other issues are causing some pretty glaring shortages in parts. Service is definitely not what it was years ago. They were once the very best at it but now at best they are no better than anyone else.
If you've had good service from the manufacturers you listed you are VERY lucky indeed. I've had serious issues with S&W in the past and after they completely abandoned the 3rd gen pistols I refuse to own a new S&W semi-auto. Just so far as Walther is concerned I had 3 really bad experiences with them and I now consider them no better than Taurus was years ago. Even Taurus beats Walther today.

All I can say is the very few time I needed parts I got one. The FUNNIEST one was when I got my BREN 2 Carbine and discovered it had been a gun show display model...still had the neutered firing pin. It took a minute to find another firing pin!
