P10S reliability
« on: January 05, 2025, 05:49:23 PM »
Hi! I've just been stung by the lack of reliability of a Canik MC9 that I'm selling. I liked the size of the thing and the shoot-ability, but it had problems with refusing to return to battery after firing. If I were to replace it with a P10S, would I have a reliable firearm, with 115 and 124gr ammo? Or more problems...?
Thanks!

I’ve had nothing but success with my P10S & C.

I’ve used it in some action pistol games (ASI & IDPA) with nary a problem- except for the inconsistent nut behind the trigger ;D

Zero problems with my P-10S, and mine was a very early manufacture.  Not sure of the round count but several thousand of Atlanta Arms 115 JHP ammo.  I haven't tried anything else.

I sold mine because I was downsizing a bit.  I wish I hadn't.  It was a great pistol.  You won't be disappointed!

Came across a used one in a gun shop a few months back. Was not really looking for one, but it was so cheap and figured I could use my P10C, P07 and P09 mags in it so why not. It is a 2022 made FDE frame model and I have put about 100 rounds through it so far with zero issues. I actually find I prefer it over my usual M&P Shield and Sig P365XL EDC pistols.
