Nexus Evo

This serms attractive for various reasons

A bit softer shooting - maybe like the MP5

Possibly less hazard for OOBD

Likely better for full auto and binary operation

BUT:  its no longer the original design used by multiple militaries
Harder to cycle the slide on a malfunction or loading
How long do the ball bearings and springs last and how can they be replaced?

You already posted a thread about this firearm.  Do you work for them and want free marketing here?

Right here - and right now:

 Why?

I’ve been critical of this nexus product.  It looks to me like these guys are relying on hype and we don’t know what the long-term durability of the ball bearings and springs are. Of course I’ve raised these issues - would somebody who works for them do this here on the forum?  I think not.

I think people should READ the actual content before they jump to conclusions.  The other thread I had was not about the Nexus, but about the hype and about the point that the CZ scorpion is fine as is in a military weapon.  Again one would have to read to know that.

So one thread I ASKED for evidence of Scorpions doing OOB and nothing came up.  Frankly its out there - but we have not evidenced it being a PLAGUE - so I question the salesman more than anything.

Another thread I've asked for evidence of Al cased ammo causing kabooms because its been stated here and I have plenty of Al ammo.  The thread, if anything dispels this notion.  I also don't understand HOW this ammo causes it - it makes no sense.

This latest thread I AGAIN question the 'need' for the Nexus and I also question their durability and ease of maintenance.  [When the springs and ball bearings wear - what is the fix?]  So again, why not read and heed what someone says instead of assuming their occupation or reason for posting?
