huskerlrrp,

I am looking for a very specific load for one or both of these carry pistols.  What I need is a round that will deliver approx 450 ft/lbs or more accurately to 65 yds but still stop in 15 inches of ballistic jell.  Have played previously with 357 Sig and have gotten some incredible results, a couple of which I had to go back and verify just to make sure I had not written it down wrong.  Have had energy levels out of a 4.6in barrel of over 750 ft/lbs with both 124 and 147gr bullets.  Bad news for both of these is they still have too much penetration.  Going to play with 115 and even 90 gr loads and see what happens.

CZ Custom is sending me two extractors and a couple different wt. extractor springs to see if I can fix my failure to eject issue.

I've never looked at penetration of the 357 SIG with my hand loads. It is more of water jug and pumpkin ballistics :) . I have loaded some all copper Lehigh 90gr rounds just above 450 foot pounds with AA#7. I don't have my load nearby. I thought they could be pushed harder but never got back to it. They did change the point of aim vs. a 125gr by a noticeable amount and not as cheap to experiment with like an RMR 125gr Nuke bullet.

I've also had to use higher force extractor springs on some of my CZs...for what it's worth.
