NORMA TAC 22 VS BROWNING PRO 22
« on: March 27, 2025, 10:32:08 AM »
Okay, I am shooting on a budget and I emphasize budget.
I have a CZ 457 MTR and havei been shooting NORMA TAC 22 with satisfactory results.
Now I am considering BROWNING PRO 22 as possible option.
Has anyone tried BROWING PRO 22 and what is your opinion?

I've not had good luck with the Browning ammo in my 457 MTR the average velocity varies too much from box to box. My rifle loves SK standard and Wolf match extra but I can't see spending $8 or $9 a box for practice ammo. Luckily I've found my rifle shoots Norma Tac 22 and CCI SV almost as well as the more expensive ammo out to 50 yards. Shopping around I've been finding the Norma and CCI ammo for $32 to $37 per 500 after tax and shipping.
