Yesterday I shot the 75b in an outlaw match.  Had not issues at all with decocking the gun despite the rain , winds and resultant cold temps.  Absolutely miserable day, but still had fun shooting.  Came in 3d in my division, mid pack overall & while there was a stage or 2 I wish I could have reshot, am overall pleased.  The gun is operating perfectly

Had some concern about my cold wet hands manipulating the hammer, but it all worked fine.  My concern is no longer justified, but I recognize I must remain vigilant and not become complacent.

IDPA on Sat- wish me luck!

Shot our monthly IDPA match today.  Didn’t do as well as I know I can, but had a fun day.  Came in. 3d in my div and ended up in the top half.

As I expect, my 75b ran like a champ.  The more I shoot it the more I enjoy it; simply a great gun for me.

Next week is our outlaw defensive match.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate this time :)

When I was in the Army they never said it's raining on the Army.

They (Sgts.) said, "It's raining in the Army."

So, if it applies to testing yourself under less than ideal conditions it might "rain in the match."

Whatever weather you get, be safe and have fun.  You can't change the weather but you can change the outcome of the match.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Yup, the saying I recall was if it ain’t raining we aren’t training.  Applied to my years in Germany, WA, and Colorado.

Army memories aside, am enjoying shooting my 75b.  Am happy I chose to shoot it this year.

Another fun day with my 75b.  Did well, but need to work on my transitions and following my game plan.  Blew one stage where on a long shot (had my 2 hits go into the black by a smidge), then transitioned to a closer target and I didn’t follow up with make up shots as I intended when I moved closer.

Also need to slow down. I’m rushing shots as I’m thinking about the next target.

That said, the 75b stainless is running like a champ & I’m thoroughly enjoying shooting it this season.  While I shoot my P10 better, am happy with my decision to shoot the 75 this season- it’s a fun gun.

Shot the P10 better because it was more accurate or because you'd practiced with it more?  Just curious.

Think it’s a combination of the following

1- I shot my P10c  last 2 seasons, and only just started shooting my 75b in my competitions, so much more practice with with the P10

2- the P10’s  trigger being striker is the same shot to shot.  As I’m shooting my 75b DA first, there is that transition.  I have shot my P09, P01 & SP101T in previous seasons, but has been a few years.

3.  The front sight on my P10 is a small FO, where my 75b sports a TRUGLO FS- so not as precise at distance

All that being said, my intent is to shoot the 75b in order to improve my skills with it.  Figured I need to shoot it more and the competition venue is a great way to do that.

As an aside, I try to shoot a different gun each season, being blessed with several, many of which are CZs :)
