Hello from the central coast of California

I am (1) old, (2) started shooting benchrest rimfire in late 2024 and (3) just ordered my first CZ (a 457 Varmint MTR).

I have been shooting both ARA and National 50 in Factory Class with a Savage BTV (Harris bipod and Protektor rear bag) and having a ball.   Even won one National 50 event but not so well in ARA, aways at the top of the lower 30% (Well, maybe that would be at the bottom of the top 60%?)

In any event I know I will improve with the help of my new CZ as soon as California allows my FFL to release it (10 day waiting period)

Looking forward to all the info that experieinced CZ owners provide on this forum.
