Don't forget about Women & Guns Magazine.
« on: June 26, 2007, 04:50:56 PM »
Years ago, I  gave a gift subscription to my mother.
she doesn't collect magazines of any kind, so I then sent
the issues to a lady officer friend in South Africa.

There were even some interesting articles in those mags that
            I liked.

Nowdays, I see that W&G has a nice website and even
            a discussion board.

What a coincidence!!!  I'm originally from South Africa, and just last night I was saying to my hubby that I wish there was a gun mag aimed at woman shooters!

            I love Guns & Ammo, but it's definitely a man's magazine.

            Thanks for the info.....

I like Guns and Ammo magazine to. Plus I read Shooting Times. I get my magazine from the NRA. I like to read the article on people that have defended themselfs against crooks that break into thier homes. I feel that everyone should be able to defend themselves. Thats why I carry. I don't take any chances when it comes to faceing criminals.

I love my Women&Guns magazine, I also love that forum.  I'm known over there as Leadfoot Anny.  Luvrtroops is a user name I've had on the EZ boards and support forums for a few years.  I have read a lot about the CZ pistols but I've never shot one.  My gun is one of them Tupperware guns you all don't seem to like.  I can't imagine anyone shooting my Smith and Wesson M&P and not liking it, to each their own.  I came here because someone came to the women&guns forum and invited us to come check out this board.  That is why I'm here.

Welcome Luvrtroops!

CZ's are awesome!  They're very comfortable in the hand, and amazingly accurate.  I've shot a lot of guns in my time, and I have to say that my P-01 feels as though it were made for my hand - I have small "girly" hands:lol

I did look at the S&W M&P, and the H&K polymers before buying my CZ, they were both very well made handguns.  But as you mentioned, some of us are just "purists" and prefer our guns to be made of cold hard metal!  Nothing against anyone that chooses otherwise......;)

I go to Woman&Guns occasionally.  I'll see you there..............
